To say the least, it's been a long week that went very fast. Does that make sense? Let's see. Monday was the "sewer cam" at the new house. That went well and we're glad for that! Tuesdays are our busiest days as I have a three hour class that I'm taking and Eric has a three hour lecture for his class he's teaching. Wednesday was our home inspection at the new house. That went pretty well. Not perfect but nothing too major. Leaky toilet, some wiring that needs to be capped and gutters that need to be added to some spots. I guess the big thing is the asbestos in the basement; however, the seller agreed to pay for the abatement as part of our offer. We are still waiting for the radon test. Wednesday I actually ended up going home sick from school but started feeling better in the afternoon. I felt good enough to walk over to the new house to observe the inspection. I'm glad I did as it started getting me excited to get in the house and start painting! Thursday was a pretty typical day. Home around 5:30, went to Walmart, took the puppies for a walk, dinner, movie.
Regardless of how busy the week was, I'm glad it's Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends this weekend and perhaps visiting with some family as well. Once we get closer to moving day, I'll post some pictures of the whole process. Hopefully it won't be too daunting as 60% of our stuff is already packed up!
